The BC Wine Grape Industry Task Force (WGITF) is pleased to invite growers, winemakers, viticulturists, marketers, suppliers, and all industry partners to an upcoming Industry Town Hall on Thursday, December 11 at 1:00 pm.
This session is designed to share progress, strengthen alignment, and highlight the important work now underway across the sector. Since launching the six Working Groups (Business Economics, Climate Resilience, Data Strategy, Market Development, Long-Term Industry Strategy, and Organizational Alignment) in late summer, the WGITF has been steadily building momentum. Each group has spent the last several months convening, defining its strategic priorities, and shaping the first set of projects that will guide collective action over the next 18 months.
The Town Hall will offer a clear, accessible overview of these priorities, unpacking what they mean for industry competitiveness, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Participants will learn about the initial projects moving into development and implementation, including how these efforts aim to strengthen industry coordination, support informed decision-making, and create lasting value for grape growers and wineries of all sizes across British Columbia.
